Pomade Vs Wax Vs Clay. Style With It and She Will Come. Which Is The Best Woo For You?

Unleash The Beast By Mastering The Ancient Art Of The Woo
The reason you’re here is that you clearly wish to seek enlightenment. If there is one thing many men do not take the time to understand, it is the power they possess in their hair. A tragic underestimation.
They use soap instead of shampoo, think moisturizer is only for touching themselves and most importantly, they do not style.
Do you, reading this now, know the difference between pomade vs wax vs gel vs clay? We do not discuss gel here at Mobsters Emporium. So shut up about the gel. But if you would like to know about pomade vs wax vs clay, read on and allow me to enlighten you.
DO NOT CAPITULATE, USE THE BEST POMADE
Judging by my long hair, I decided I would weaponize with water based pomade.
- It preserves your hair's natural oils, is ideal for medium hair (1” - 2”) to long hair (2” - 4” +) and washes out easily with a quick rinse.
- It provides a high shine, a firm hold that won’t dry or flake.
- It delivers a fine slick, matte, shiny or wet look.
BUT CHOPSHOP CHARLIE I DON’T KNOW HOW TO USE POMADE?
Cease your bellyaching! It is simple.
- Just wet your hair, but not too wet.
- Take a fingertip’s worth of pomade and rub it together in your hands.
- Then brush it into your hair evenly.
- Get your sides, the top and lift the hair from the back of your neck so you can spread it throughout the hair on the back of your head.
- You do not need to use a brush, your hands will do just fine for a messy, swashbuckling look.
- If you do wish to use a comb for a full slickback, the choice is yours.
POMADE VS WAX, AN AGE OLD QUESTION
Wax on or wax off? It is to be used for those looking for more volume in the hair, a problem that I, obviously, do not possess. Wax has become quite popular among the new generation.
- Made from the wax of bees, it is full of natural oils and ingredients.
- Its purpose is to add shine and moisture.
- It boasts a medium to hard hold and more of a medium shine than pomade.
- It does not dry out or flake.
- Common styles are the spiky or messy hair.
- How to use wax, is nearly identical to the application of pomade. See above so I do not become repetitious.
BUT WHAT ABOUT CLAY POMADE?
Firstly, nobody calls it clay pomade, it’s HAIR CLAY. Second, yes, hair clay does have actual clay in it, ask me a question like that again and it will be your last.
- Its texture is that of a thick paste.
- It is more similar to wax than pomade and can repair damaged hair and moisturize the scalp.
- It has a medium to medium loose hold and tends to provide a matte and natural finish.
- Typically it looks like you didn’t apply any product at all, but we know the truth, you sly panda.
- The hold on the clay lasts and will allow you to work and rework it throughout the day.
- It washes out very easily.
- Again, Pomade vs Wax vs Clay are all applied the same way, so see above, or I will cut off your hands.
