FAQ'S
Should I use it with other Mobsters products?
Absolutely. Sea Salt Spray is your foundation player. Start with this on damp hair, then layer with Texture Powder for extra volume, or finish with pomade/clay for more control. It's like building the perfect beach house - start with the right foundation.
When to apply Sea Salt Spray?
Hit your hair when it's damp - that's when it works its best magic. Spray generously, scrunch for texture, then blow dry for more volume. Then add other products like Texture Powder or Clay to finish the look.
How much should I use for longer hair?
For those surfer vibes, boss, section your hair and apply 2-3 spritzes per section. Make sure you're getting even coverage - like distributing territory, you want every strand to get its fair share of the action.
Will it make my hair feel crunchy or sticky?
Not a chance. Unlike those amateur products, our formula keeps things natural and touchable. No crunch, no stickiness - just that perfect beach texture that moves like you've spent the day riding waves.
My hair gets frizzy - will this help?
This is your frizz control enforcer. The salt-infused formula actually helps tame those wild strands by giving them direction and purpose. Like turning loose cannons into loyal soldiers, it brings order to chaos while maintaining that natural look.
The branding is a little conflicting… it has a Birdseye fish finger like captain on the front but the brand name is Mobsters which to me means gangsters! The sea salt smells quite nice and gave my hair some volume with a short term medium hold that seemed to fluff out after a few hours. It’s an ok product for the price but It’s not enough to convert me from my current product which while a little more expensive is a lot higher quality in smell and hold.
Mobsters sea salt spray, has really stylish packaging which I feel does make it an attractive product to buy. If it was something on the shelf in a supermarket I feel it would attract my attention. It has a pump spray dispenser and smells absolutely Devine!I got this for my sisters partner as he has curly hair and has used many products in the past from wax, clay, gel, putty, sprays and powder and he has found that salt spray is the only thing that gives it bounce and texture. Mobsters salt spray certainly lived up to that same expectation, no sticky residue, gives good hold and definition to the hair.Super impressed and looking forward to future products!
Was preparing for a day out with my mate yesterday and just couldn't style my hair. It's curly but I straighten it and it's hit or miss if I can style it that day. My mate said to try this stuff and it's just turned up so I tried it. Never been able to style my hair so easy! Weren't the cheapest but really good stuff and works well on straightened hair or curly.
I’ve been using a competitor’s sea-salt hair product for probably years. I have very fine greasing/grey hair (short) and find sea-last give it a bit more thickness and body (which I will apply whilst damp, blow dry and then use a fixing product/spray to finish). This Mobster’s product does a similar job, but disappointingly I found it was a touch heavy and sticky for my hair (leaving it a bit lank). However I started using less and less of it which produced better results (and a single pump of spray worked into my hair is all that’s needed). It still doesn’t have quite the texturising effect as my usual product, but on the other hand there is probably twice as much solution in a Monsterâ€s bottle (plus I need to use less of it - a lot less). This bottle would probably last me about a year I reckon - so it is exceptional value. In short: brilliant value, but use sparingly for better results.
Decent little sea-salt spray, very similar to others we've tried. It does help with beachy curl definition and texture, but I personally found that it didn't last too long.
